Beautifully chosen, thoughtfully wrapped and always a real person to help.
Experience an enduring piece of stationery history with Blackwing's legendary 602 Pencil.
The chosen pencil of pop-culture icons from Truman Capote to Quincy Jones, the Blackwing 602 is the modern reincarnation of the famous Eberhard-Faber Blackwing 602. Made from incense cedar with a Firm graphite core, the 602 is a versatile pencil that holds its point for longer, making it a perfect companion for writing, sketching and more.
Emblazoned on the barrel is the phrase "half the pressure, twice the speed", taken from the original Eberhard-Faber pencil, and this still holds true as a great description of the writing experience offered by the 602.
The 602's barrel features a signature gunmetal grey finish, and is capped off with Blackwing's iconic square ferrule and a replaceable eraser.
